🔅 *Schema Therapy* is a type of psychotherapy developed by Jeffrey Jung in the 1990s. It combines cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, attachment-centered therapy, Gestalt therapy, and emotion-centered therapy. This therapy focuses on schemas, which are deeply ingrained patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior, often formed in childhood, and which significantly influence a person's life later in life. Some of these schemas are negative and can lead to problems in relationships, mood, and self-esteem.
