🔅 *Schema Therapy* is a type of psychotherapy developed by Jeffrey Young in the 1990s. It is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, attachment-centered therapy, Gestalt therapy, and emotion-centered therapy. This therapy focuses on schemas, which are deep-rooted patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior, often formed in childhood.

These patterns significantly impact a person's life later on. Some of these patterns are negative and lead to problems in relationships, mood, and self-esteem.
