🔅 *Schema Therapy* is a type of psychotherapy developed by *Geoffrey Young* in the 1990s. It represents a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, attachment-focused therapy, Gestalt therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. This therapy focuses on schemas, which are deep-rooted patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior, often formed in childhood, and greatly impacting a person's life later on.

Some of these plans are negative and lead to problems with relationships, mood, and self-esteem.
